This report revisits and analyzes the trends of the high school discharge rate in New York City using data from the classes of 2000-2007.  Findings show an increase of 3.6% in the number of NYC students discharged, totaling 142,262 students which were not accounted for.  They were not counted as dropouts or included in the graduation rate calculations.  Eight more key findings are outlined and recommendations are made to address the findings.
